A brand new and state-of-the-art showroom for the American sanitary and plumbing brand Kohler is set to open in Emerald Park, Trianon, not far from the current store, by the month of August. Most local newspapers including Week-End, 5-Plus, Le Mauricien, L’Express Dimanche, and Immobilier and Construction are presenting this new showroom as a gem that promises a new shopping experience to its customers. According to our colleague Azam Bholah, General Manager of Supertech Equipment, a sister company of the Hyvec Group representing the Kohler brand in Mauritius, a dedicated space will be provided for live demonstrations of their various faucets and showers.

The Geox brand keeps generating buzz since its official launch at Rodeo Drive in Tribeca Mall last month. This time, the Lifestyle magazine features a two-page spread in its latest edition dedicated to Mother’s Day. The Hyvec Group is increasing its social involvement by supporting a reading-for-pleasure project launched by the NGO Next Art Factory, aimed at underprivileged primary schools on the island. Over the weekend, the newspaper l’Express presented this project which aims to set up a library in these disadvantaged schools to promote reading for pleasure among young people with the collaboration of teaching staff.  Hyvec Group financed the purchase of local books and, at the same time, supported Mauritian authors. The paint for the walls was also provided by Hyvec and the murals were created by the school staff and Hyvec group’s staff.
